Factory Signs, Shop Signs and other Signs

Factory Signs, Shop Fronts and other such signs can be made in a many ways and from a vast range of materials. The process and materials used will depend on the function of the sign, the type of building, the corporate style of the company and of course the budget.

Strand Manufacturing

pvc fascia with exterior grade vinyl lettering, mounted in an aluminium frame. Frames are usually silver anodised aluminium but can be coloured to match the graphics of the sign.

Custom Audio Designs

With this type of sign the frame is fitted first and the fascia hangs from the top of the frame. This enables the fascia to expand and contract freely with changes in temperature.

Martin Commercials

Where the fascia comprises of more than 1 panel, the panels are interlocked so they do not creep apart. This sign was over 12m long and spanned 3 sides of the building.

Graphics can be cut vinyl lettering or full colour digitally printed graphics, or a combination of both.

As the fascia is fitted after the frame, all the frame fixings are hidden creating a very smart looking sign.

No 8 Hair

This is an aluminium panel with a digitally printed fade graphic applied. The centre circle is mounted on 20mm standoffs on top of the main facsia.

Leisure Superstore

Dibond panels with vinyl graphics. Dibond is a plastic and aluminium composite, consisting of a plastic centre sandwiched between 2 thin layers of aluminium. This produces a strong stable material that is light weight and easy to work with.

Top Notch Signs

Our sign consists of a white powder coated, folded steel tray. The tray is approx 50mm deep and hangs on an aluminium angle secured to the building.

Earth Seed to Bloom

Probably the simplest method of shop front signage is self adhesive vinyl lettering applied direct to the painted shop front.

The Golden Lion

Hand made painted wooden signs with vinyl lettering applied. A combination of modern and traditional signage producing a sign complimentary to the style of the building.

The City of Portsmouth Boys' School

Vinyl lettering and a digitally printed crest applied to a pvc board. The pvc board was then mounted in a wooden frame.

Ocean Design

Cut from 5mm thick pvc and mounted on standoffs. Variable length standoff were used to compensate for the very uneven flint surface.

GP3 Lettings

Cut from 5mm gloss black pvc board with gold and white vinyl applied, mounted on 20mm standoffs.

Heritage Business Park

Aluminium panel with rear post fixing channel, clamped to aluminium posts. Similar construction to most road signs.

Pegasus

Cut vinyl graphic applied to shop window.
